Давыденко, Валерий Николаевич

Valeriy Davydenko was a Ukrainian politician and entrepreneur who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the VIII and IX convocations. Born in Nosivka, he began his career in the agricultural sector, eventually serving as Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine from 2013 to 2014. In his later political career, he was elected as an independent candidate for the 208th district and joined the 'Doverie' (Trust) parliamentary group. Davydenko was found dead in his Kyiv office in May 2020 at the age of 47, with his death initially investigated as a potential homicide.
