Vangalapudi Anitha is an Indian politician who serves as the Minister of Home Affairs and Disaster Management in the Government of Andhra Pradesh and as a Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Payakaraopet constituency. Born in Visakhapatnam district, she earned her MA and M.Ed. from Andhra University and worked as a teacher before transitioning into politics. A member of the Telugu Desam Party, she previously won election to the assembly in 2014 and later became the president of Telugu Mahila, the women's wing of the party, before returning to government office following the 2024 elections.
