Vidal Llerenas Morales is a Mexican politician and economist who served as the Mayor of Azcapotzalco from 2018 to 2021. An expert in public administration and finance, he previously held multiple terms as a federal deputy in the Chamber of Deputies and served as a subsecretary of expenditures for the Federal District. Educated at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, the University of Essex, and the University of York, Llerenas has focused his career on fiscal policy, public budgeting, and social comptrollership. He was formerly a member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution before joining the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).
