Viktor Bondar is a Ukrainian politician and current People's Deputy of Ukraine. Born in Leningrad in 1975, he graduated from the National Law Academy of Ukraine and the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Bondar has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Transport and Communications (2005–2006) and Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (2007–2010). Throughout his parliamentary career, he has represented the 191st electoral district in the Verkhovna Rada across multiple convocations. Initially associated with the Party of Regions, he later became an independent politician and led the 'For Future' parliamentary group. In early 2025, he faced corruption allegations regarding procurement processes for Ukrzaliznytsia.
