Медведчук Виктор Владимирович

Viktor Medvedchuk is a former Ukrainian politician and lawyer who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine across multiple convocations. Known for his pro-Russian political stance, he led the 'Ukrainian Choice' movement and the Opposition Platform — For Life party. Throughout his career, he held significant positions, including Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine from 2002 to 2005 and First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada. In 2022, he was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine and subsequently exchanged with Russia. In January 2023, he was stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship and removed from his parliamentary mandate.
