Vivette Lopez

Vivette Lopez is a French politician who has served as a Senator for the Gard department since 2014. Before her national parliamentary career, she served as the mayor of Mus from 2001 to 2017. Originally a municipal secretary, she entered politics at the local level before rising to the Senate, where she has been a member of the UMP and subsequently The Republicans. She has been a consistent supporter of figures such as Nicolas Sarkozy and Laurent Wauquiez within her party. In 2025, she announced that she would not seek a new term in the Senate.
