Walid Taha is an Israeli Arab politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List (Ra'am). Born in Kafr Qasim, he holds degrees in political science and history from the Open University of Israel and Tel Aviv University. Before entering national politics, he worked in the education sector, serving as a school principal and as the director of education for the Kafr Qasim city council. A member of the Islamic Movement, Taha was first elected to the Knesset in 2019 and has since chaired the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee. He is known for his advocacy within the Arab-Israeli community and has been a prominent figure in the United Arab List's parliamentary activities.
