Walter Verini

Walter Verini is an Italian politician and journalist currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic since 2022. A professional journalist since 1978, he previously served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for three consecutive terms from 2008 to 2022. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles within the Democratic Party, including serving as national treasurer and regional commissioner for Umbria. His parliamentary work has focused heavily on justice and anti-mafia initiatives.
