Wayne McMahen

Wayne McMahen is an American politician and retired veterinarian serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 10 since 2018. Representing parts of Bossier and Webster Parishes, he previously operated the McMahen Veterinary Hospital in Springhill, Louisiana, after taking over the family business. A graduate of Louisiana State University, he has served on the boards of Citizens National Bank and the Springhill Medical Center. In the legislature, he has focused on public safety, including authoring legislation regarding the classification of resisting an officer as a violent crime.
