Wayne Maxim Thring is a South African politician and educator currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly. A long-standing member of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP), he has held various leadership roles, including national deputy president and provincial leader. Thring previously served as a city councillor in the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality from 2000 to 2013. He first entered the National Assembly in 2013 and returned to the legislature following the 2019 general election, subsequently winning re-election in 2024.
