Werner Herbert is an Austrian politician and member of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). He has served multiple terms in the Austrian National Council and the Federal Council since 2008. Before his full-time political career, he worked as a police officer in Vienna, eventually rising to the rank of police inspector. In addition to his national parliamentary duties, he serves as the deputy mayor of Enzersdorf an der Fischa and has held various leadership roles within the FPÖ and the police staff representation union.
