Werner Schießl is a German politician and project manager who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since October 2023. Before his election to the state parliament, he held various local government roles, including serving as the full-time mayor of his hometown, Eggenfelden, from 2002 to 2014. He currently remains active in local politics as a member of the Eggenfelden city council and the Rottal-Inn district council, where he chairs the Free Voters parliamentary group. Schießl holds a degree in business administration from the University of Passau and previously worked as a managing director in the recycling and logistics sector, as well as an independent consultant for broadband infrastructure.
