Willis Blackshear Jr.

Willis Blackshear Jr. is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Ohio State Senate, representing the 6th district. He was elected to the Senate in November 2024. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, Blackshear served in the Ohio House of Representatives representing the 38th district, having been first elected in 2020. Before entering elected office, he worked as an outreach specialist in the Montgomery County Auditor's Office. In the state legislature, he has contributed to committees including Commerce and Labor, Criminal Justice, and Agriculture and Rural Development.
