Xavier Espot Zamora

Xavier Espot Zamora is an Andorran politician and judge who has served as the Prime Minister of Andorra since 2019. A trained lawyer, he previously held the positions of Minister of Social Affairs, Justice, and the Interior from 2012 to 2019 and served as a judge within the Andorran judiciary. As leader of the Democrats for Andorra party, Espot has focused on economic diversification and social policy. In 2023, he became the first head of government in Andorra to come out publicly as gay.
