Yan Permenas Mandenas is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Born in Nabire in 1982, he spent his childhood in the Kurudu Islands and later moved to Teluk Bintuni. Before his political career, he worked as a fisherman. He holds a bachelor's degree in State Administration from Cenderawasih University and a master's degree in Sociology from the University of Indonesia. He was elected to the national parliament for the 2019-2024 term representing the Papua electoral district as the sole representative from the Great Indonesia Movement Party in that region.
