奥村 芳正

Yoshimasa Okumura is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shiga Prefectural Assembly, representing the city of Kusatsu. First elected to the Kusatsu City Council in 1999, he transitioned to the prefectural assembly in 2007 and is currently serving his fifth term. Throughout his career, he has held significant leadership roles within the assembly, including serving as the 97th Chairman and the 106th Vice-Chairman of the Shiga Prefectural Assembly. His policy focus includes infrastructure development, such as the improvement of the Konan arterial road and the former Kusatsu River site, as well as the promotion of rural infrastructure. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and emphasizes the importance of community engagement and local welfare.
