Yu Bo-hwa is a South Korean politician currently serving as the 40th Mayor of Seongdong District in Seoul. A member of the Democratic Party of Korea, he assumed office on July 1, 2026, following his victory in the 9th nationwide local elections. Prior to his election as mayor, he served as the Deputy Mayor of Seongdong District and held positions within the Seoul Metropolitan Government, including as a policy planning officer. He holds a master's degree in urban administration from the University of Seoul and has been active in academic and environmental policy circles.
