Yuri Shuleiko

Yuri Shuleiko is a Belarusian politician currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, a position he assumed in 2024. Prior to his current role, he served as the Governor of the Brest Region from 2021 to 2024. His political career has been marked by his alignment with the current administration in Belarus. In 2022, Shuleiko was placed under international sanctions by several countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, and members of the European Union, in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
