Yuriy Boyko is a Ukrainian politician and former government official who currently serves as a People's Deputy of Ukraine. A long-time figure in the energy sector, he previously held high-level positions including Minister of Fuel and Energy, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, and Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. Throughout his career, he has been associated with several pro-Russian political forces, including the Party of Regions and the Opposition Platform — For Life. He was a candidate for President of Ukraine in 2014 and 2019. Following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, he became the head of the parliamentary group Platform for Life and Peace.
