Yvan Pahud is a Swiss politician and member of the Swiss People's Party (UDC). Born in 1980 in Sainte-Croix, he began his career as a carpenter and later worked as a border guard and in the forestry industry. Pahud entered local politics in 2002, serving on the municipal council of Sainte-Croix and eventually becoming its mayor (syndic) in 2025. He also served in the Grand Council of the canton of Vaud from 2016 to 2023. In October 2023, he was elected to the Swiss National Council, where he currently represents the canton of Vaud.
