Zada Salihović

Zada Salihović is a German politician and trade unionist serving as a Member of the German Bundestag for The Left since 2025. Born in Pirna, she became politically active at a young age, participating in anti-Pegida demonstrations and trade union youth representation before transitioning to full-time trade union work in office management. In the Bundestag, she serves as a full member of the Defence Committee and as her parliamentary group's spokesperson for defense policy, focusing her political career on fair working conditions, feminist and anti-fascist activism, and European stability in the Western Balkans.
