Ziaur Rahman Barq

Zia ur Rahman Barq is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Sambhal constituency. A member of the Samajwadi Party, he previously served as a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Kundarki constituency from 2022 to 2024. Before entering electoral politics, he was active in student leadership, serving as a senior cabinet member and acting secretary of the Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union. His political career has been marked by his advocacy for minority education and involvement in regional political developments in Uttar Pradesh.
