Özlem Zengin is a Turkish lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Born in 1969, she graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Law in 1990. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a television producer and presenter, founded the Istanbul Woman and Family Research Centre (IKAMER), and practiced law. Zengin has held various leadership roles within the Justice and Development Party (AKP), including serving as the Chairwoman of the AKP Women's Branches. She also holds a master's degree in the Sociology of Religion from Marmara University.
