Zukan Helez is a Bosnian politician currently serving as the Minister of Defence and Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2023. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he previously served in the national House of Representatives from 2018 to 2023 and as the Federal Minister for Veterans and Disabled Veterans from 2011 to 2015. Helez is a graduate of the University of Sarajevo and a veteran of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
