İzzet Ulvi Yönter is a Turkish politician, economist, and historian currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representing Istanbul. He has held his parliamentary seat since the 25th legislative term. Before his political career, he worked as an inspector for the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Yönter holds degrees from Istanbul University's Faculty of Political Sciences and the Department of History, and he completed his doctoral studies in economics at Gazi and Anadolu Universities.
