A. Shane Massey

A. Shane Massey is an American politician serving as a member of the South Carolina Senate, where he has represented the 25th District since 2007. A member of the Republican Party, he has held the position of Senate Majority Leader since 2016 and currently chairs the Senate Rules Committee. Throughout his tenure, Massey has been involved in significant state legislative matters, including redistricting policy and election administration. He is also a deacon and Sunday School teacher at his local church and was named an Aspen Institute Rodel Fellow in 2014.
