Gregory Michael Davids is an American politician serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives, where he represents District 26B. First elected in 1991, he is the longest-serving Republican member of the chamber. Throughout his tenure, Davids has held various leadership roles, including chairing the Taxes Committee and the Commerce, Jobs and Economic Development Committee. A consistent advocate for tax reform, he has championed tax cuts for businesses and individuals, the repeal of taxes on Social Security, and the elimination of the estate tax.
