Gregory Michael Davids is an American politician serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives, where he represents District 26B. First elected in 1991, he is the longest-serving Republican member of the chamber. Throughout his tenure, Davids has held various leadership roles, including chairing the Taxes Committee and the Commerce, Jobs and Economic Development Committee. A consistent advocate for tax reform, he has championed tax cuts for businesses and individuals, the repeal of taxes on Social Security, and the elimination of the estate tax. He has also been a vocal critic of the Affordable Care Act and the state-run health insurance marketplace, MNsure.
