Aaron Kennedy is a Canadian politician and former sports journalist who serves as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick for the riding of Quispamsis. Elected in the 2024 provincial election, he notably defeated incumbent Premier Blaine Higgs. Before entering provincial politics, Kennedy worked as a communications manager and interim chief administrative officer for the town of Quispamsis. His earlier career included roles as a radio broadcaster and sports reporter for various media outlets, including the Saint John Flames. Following his election, he was appointed to the provincial cabinet as Minister of Local Government and Minister responsible for Service New Brunswick.
