Robert Gauvin is a Canadian politician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick for the riding of Shediac Bay-Dieppe. First elected in 2018 as a Progressive Conservative, he served as Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture before resigning from cabinet in 2020 to protest health reforms. He subsequently joined the Liberal Party and was re-elected in 2020 and 2024. As of November 2024, he serves as the Minister of Public Safety and Minister responsible for la Francophonie.
