Deepak Anand is a Canadian politician who has served as a Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Mississauga—Malton since 2018. A chemical engineer by training, he earned his degree from Panjab University in India before immigrating to Canada in 2000 and later obtaining an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. Prior to his political career, Anand worked as a lab technician, quality manager in the automotive industry, and a financial analyst. He currently serves as a Parliamentary Assistant and is a member of the Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy.
