George Darouze

George Darouze is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Carleton, having been elected in the 2025 Ontario general election. Born in Lebanon in 1964, he immigrated to Canada in 1990 and previously served as an Ottawa City Councillor for Osgoode Ward from 2014 to 2025. Before entering politics, Darouze worked in various roles including telecommunications management and small business ownership. Throughout his career, he has focused on rural economic development, agricultural policy, and infrastructure improvements, while also maintaining a long history of community volunteerism.
