Aaron Charles Reed is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Kentucky Senate for the 7th district, representing Anderson, Shelby, Spencer, and part of Jefferson counties. A former United States Navy SEAL, Reed entered politics by defeating incumbent state Senator Adrienne Southworth and challenger Ed Gallrein in the 2024 Republican primary. He subsequently won the general election in November 2024 and assumed office on January 1, 2025.
