Aaron Rouse is an American politician and former professional football player currently serving as a member of the Senate of Virginia, representing the 22nd district. Before entering state politics, he served on the Virginia Beach City Council from 2019 to 2022. A former safety in the National Football League, Rouse played for teams including the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, and Arizona Cardinals, and later competed in the United Football League. He was elected to the Virginia State Senate in a 2023 special election and has since been active in state-level legislative affairs.
