Şaban Çopuroğlu is a Turkish politician and businessman currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the 28th legislative term, representing the province of Kayseri. Born in 1967 in Kayseri, he completed his early education at TED Kayseri College before graduating from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Erciyes University. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the provincial head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Kayseri from 2018 to 2023. He resigned from his party leadership position in 2022 to pursue a candidacy in the May 2023 general elections, where he was successfully elected to the national parliament.
