Ali Bozan

Ali Bozan is a Turkish lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representing the province of Mersin for the Green Left Party. Born in Adiyaman in 1978, he studied law at Dokuz Eylül University and established a career as a lawyer in Mersin, where he has represented various journalists and political figures. Throughout his career, Bozan has faced multiple legal challenges related to his political activism, including a period of imprisonment following his involvement with the Democratic Society Party. He has been a vocal advocate for freedom of speech, successfully appealing to the European Court of Human Rights regarding his own legal cases.
