Abdoulaye Diop is a Malian diplomat and politician currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mali. Born in 1965 in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, he has held various high-level diplomatic roles, including Ambassador of Mali to the United States and Chief of Staff to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission. Diop previously served as a senior official with the World Food Programme and played a key role as the chief negotiator for the Malian government during the 2014-2015 peace talks. He returned to his current ministerial position in 2021 under the transitional government led by Assimi Goïta.
