Ismaël Wagué

Ismaël Wagué is a Malian military officer and politician who has served as the Minister of National Reconciliation in the Transitional Government of Mali since October 5, 2020. A key figure in the 2020 Malian coup d'état, he previously acted as the spokesperson for the National Committee for the Salvation of the People. Before his ministerial appointment, he served as the deputy chief of staff of the Malian Air Force, a position he assumed in March 2019 following significant military leadership changes.
