Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani is a Bahraini politician, engineer, and retired lieutenant general who has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain since 2020. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council from 2011 to 2020. His extensive career includes significant service in the Bahrain Defence Force, where he attained the rank of lieutenant general, as well as academic roles in mathematics and statistics. He is noted for his role in the 2020 Bahrain–Israel normalization agreement and his diplomatic efforts, including a 2023 visit to Ukraine.
