Abdus Salam Pintu is a Bangladeshi politician and vice-chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party who serves as a Member of the Jatiya Sangsad for the Tangail-2 constituency. A long-standing figure in regional politics, he previously served as a Member of Parliament in 1991, 1996, and 2001, and held government office as deputy minister for education and deputy minister of industries during the early 2000s. After spending 17 years in prison following his arrest in connection with the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack, he was acquitted by the high court and released in late 2024 before returning to parliamentary politics.
