Куспан, Абзал Темиргалиулы

Abzal Kuspan is a Kazakh lawyer, public figure, and politician currently serving as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. Born in 1978 in the Zhangalinsky District, he graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy in 2000. Before entering parliament, he had a distinguished career as a prosecutor and later as a prominent defense attorney, known for representing high-profile clients and human rights cases, including the Zhanaozen events and the defense of Sayragul Sauytbay. He has been active in public advocacy, notably co-founding the 'Abyroy' association to protest environmental issues and Russian rocket testing in Kazakhstan.
