Заитов, Ринат Рифхатович

Rinat Zaitov is a Kazakh politician, poet, and improvisational performer (akyn) currently serving as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. Born in Ayagoz, he gained national prominence as a celebrated akyn and songwriter before entering the political arena. Known for his outspoken criticism of government policies and his advocacy for the promotion of the Kazakh language, Zaitov has frequently engaged in public discourse regarding national identity and social issues. He was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan in 2026 for his contributions to public and social life.
