Adem Korkmaz is a Turkish academic and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the province of Burdur. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in academia, earning his doctorate from Istanbul University and becoming a professor at Süleyman Demirel University in 2013. He served as the rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University from 2015 until his resignation in 2023 to pursue his parliamentary candidacy.
