Adidjatou Mathys

Adidjatou Mathys is a Beninese politician and economist who currently serves as the Minister of Labour and Public Service in Benin, a position she has held since May 2021. Born in 1956 in Porto-Novo, she began her career in the Beninese public administration in 1982. Throughout her career, she has held significant roles including Director General of the Treasury and Public Accounting, and Minister of Economy and Finance, becoming the first woman to hold the latter position in 2011. She is recognized for her extensive experience in public finance and administration.
