Adies Kadir is an Indonesian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) from 2014 until his suspension in 2025. Born in Balikpapan, he previously worked as an engineer and managing partner at a law firm before entering politics with the Golkar party. During his parliamentary tenure, he served on the Third Commission and was elected as a deputy speaker of the DPR in 2024. His political career was interrupted in September 2025 following public outcry over his controversial remarks regarding parliamentary allowance increases.
