Heru Tjahjono is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024–2029 term. Before entering national politics, he had a distinguished career in regional administration, notably serving as the Regional Secretary of East Java Province from 2018 to 2022 and as the Regent of Tulungagung for two consecutive terms between 2003 and 2013. Throughout his career, he held various positions in public works and regional planning departments. He holds a doctoral degree in Development Environmental Science from Brawijaya University.
