Adis Ahmetovic is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag representing the constituency of Stadt Hannover I. Born in Hannover to Bosnian parents, he joined the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in 2008 and has served as a leader of the SPD Hannover since 2020. A graduate of Leibniz University Hannover with a Master of Education, he previously worked as an office manager and advisor to Minister President Stephan Weil. Within the Bundestag, he is a member of the Parliamentary Left movement and currently serves as his parliamentary group's spokesperson on foreign affairs. Ahmetovic is a strong advocate for education, affordable housing, and the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
