Afnan Hamimi bin Taib Azamudden is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Alor Setar since November 2022. A member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), he is the first Malay representative for his constituency. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has held leadership roles within the Perikatan Nasional coalition and PAS, including serving as the Youth Chief for both organizations. Before entering national politics, he held various advisory and management positions in Penang, including roles within the state's Islamic religious council and fatwa committee. He holds degrees in Islamic studies from Kolej Ugama Sultan Zainal Abidin, Al-Azhar University, and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
