Agnieszka Pomaska is a Polish politician and long-serving member of the Sejm, representing the Civic Coalition. Born in Gdynia, she began her career in local government as a member of the Gdańsk City Council. Since 2009, she has served continuously in the Sejm, where she has focused heavily on European Union affairs, chairing the Committee on European Union Affairs. A prominent advocate for reproductive rights, she led the 'Yes for In Vitro' legislative initiative. In addition to her parliamentary duties, she serves as a vice-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and holds leadership roles within the Civic Platform party in the Pomeranian region.
