Ahmad Safei is an Indonesian politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Before entering national politics, he had a distinguished career as a civil servant, eventually rising to the position of Regional Secretary. He served two terms as the Regent of Kolaka from 2013 to 2024, where he was widely recognized for his approachable leadership style and the popular political slogan 'Safei Milik Semua' (Safei Belongs to Everyone). Following his tenure as Regent, he was elected to the national legislature in the 2024 general election representing the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle.
