Ahmed Al-Sadoun is a Kuwaiti politician and activist who has served as the Speaker of the Kuwait National Assembly across multiple non-consecutive terms, including 1985, 1992, 1996, 2012, 2022, and 2023. As a long-standing member representing the third district and leader of the opposition Popular Action Bloc, he has been a prominent figure in Kuwaiti politics since his initial election in 1975. Throughout his career, he has been active in oil policy reforms, sports administration as a former president of the Kuwait Football Association and vice president of FIFA, and parliamentary oversight.
